Call me old fashioned but I still love playing my N64. The reason I originally bought one was after playing the fantastic Pilotwings 64 round a mates house. So I was really pleased to hear of the sequel coming to the Cube in the future.

What were your favourite bits from Pilotwings? Be it the ability to roam freely anywhere? The cannonball level and the 'crunch' when you rammed into the target? The scream when you were shot from the cannon? Being able to land at the petrol station and fill up your gyrocopter with fuel? Or trying to shoot Meca Hawk with missiles?

Oh what a fabulous game it is. Cant wait for the next installment......

I loved pilotwings! My fave bits were the challenges. Fighting meca hawk was good but some of the challenges were impossible! The glider challenges were the hardest.I got all three pilots licenses(gold silver and bronze).
there were just so many extras and stuff crammed into the game. you really got ya moneys worth.

Spring boots were great fun and so was sky diving. An absolute classic game. Cant wait for the Gamecube version.

Toys R Us sell them for 50 with 6 games, brand new. But I haven't been there for more than a year (When I got my Gamecube).

And the GAME's nearest me don't stock N-64. Everybody here is too intelligent to sell them.

Plus, my SNES takes up the only space I have.

You MUST get it just to have a go! It really is a great game. Hard to find in the shops but there are normally 3 or 4 up for auction on e-bay!

Isn't a threequel though?

It's not a sequel to Pilotwings 64, but rather, the third in the line of Pilotwings games.

Just nitpicking, that's all.

Yeh, I loved the bit where you flew under an arched rock and into the star and it suddenly transformed you into the birdman where you flap your wings to gain height. Great stuff.

I liked the free roaming aspect. Being able to glide around to nice relaxing music. Something more games should offer instead of intense blasting and killing all the time!

:)
