Well, it has come to my attention that the WWE are using Old music for NEW wrestlers.Take Rodney Mack's music for instance... his tune is 'Calafornia' from wrestlemania X7.
La resitances music is from the rivalry video between Ric Flair and the undertaker from Wrestlemania X8.

In regards to Wrestlemania 18 and it's entrance music for the N.W.O, the reason why they used different music is because even though THQ aquired the rights to use WWE brand names and affiliates, they couldn't afford to aquire the rights to use Jimi Hendrix's music of which The N.W.O. entrance theme contained a sample (I should be able to remember which song but my mind's gone totally blank at the mo, hate it when that happens).
Hence the reason why Hogan doesn't come out to Voodoo Chile. As for Hardy's and Tajiri, I don't have a clue what's going on there.

No, I don't. Yeah, wrestlemani X8 is pretty dodgy on the songs. They have most songs right but have u heard tajiri's or matt hardys? Well odd.

On Wrestlemania X8, it has nWo's old music and some dodgey music for other people. I don't think they have rights for some songs.
Um, Jeff Hardy's music used to be used as backround music for a montage of various wrestler's doing their thing. That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
