Hey guys,

Does anyone on here play the new add on for FIFA 09 called Ultimate Team? If not then here is a little bit about it.

The game which is extremely addictive is a way to build your "Ultimate Team" by trading and training your favourite players, kits, badges and managers.

The process is similar to that of the good old Panini football stickers or Pokemon cards if you will, you buy packs using in game coins earnt by playing games, trading, selling players etc or by using MS Points throught the 360 or PSN Marketplace.

In the new packs you will receive players, contract cards, training cards, club info cards (kits, badges, stadiums etc) . Any cards you dont want from these packs you card discard, add to your collection ( a big sticker book where you get paid between 150-500 points per item added, and then you get bonuses for completed pages/teams etc) or to your trade pile so you can sell of trade them.

I started playing this on its release day in March and I have been playing it most days since, it rekindles that old joy I had as a child opening a pack of football stickers and having the Ronaldo equivalent player "Gascoigne" in my pack and then trading it for 50 stickers with friends.

Not only can you build your Ultimate Team you can actually play with them against other teams online. Which is a concept that I seem to have forgotten about as building and trading my team just takes over and becomes a part of my regular eveing routines lol.

Everyone should get on it, its brilliant, addictive and a way to bring out the kid in you.
