for all you 'britpop' fans, we have a story of early 90's indie/rock/britpop with interviews from noel gallagher and others.

should be good.

Noel Gallagher, surprisingly, talks a lot of sense. Most of the time. Liam is a moron, but you have to love that sheer balls-out no nonsense bravado that he has. And he wrote Songbird.

Not really. Did you watch the documentaires. The 80s was about oppression, supressed emotions etc. and Oasis took the mantle of bands like the Stone Roses and went further, ballsier, louder etc.

Sometimes I think the gallaghers are cretins aswell, but I don't buy peoples music because I think they are decent people. To be honest Damon Albarn came off far more arrogant and toffee nosed. I'd like to wrap that guitar around his middle classed head.

Noel was talking mainly sense, Liam was going on about stealing clothes off washing lines when he was younger. If you were famous, you might not hide these things from the public, but you would certainly play them down. Idiot. Still, some of his antics amuse me.

They concentrated far too much on Oasis and Blur, they should have devoted far more time to the stone roses, charlatans, happy mondays etc, who were just as big a part, if not a larger part of 'britpop' than the former.

an unbiased britpop documentary would be nice.

I didn't see this deliberately, because the Gallaghers are knob heads. But I did see a quote from Liam in the paper, "What's wrong with S Club Juniors? They're good little kids".

*remembers where he was instead*

Liam does nothing to change my opinion of him as a gigantic knob, Noel does nothing to change my opinion of him as a pretty cool guy.

What was with all the random Massive Attack though? Great film.

It was okay but nothing worth writing home about. Hang on, that's exactly what I'm doing though!

Er there isn't a bad song on the album:

Hello
Roll With It
Wonderwall
Don't Look Back In Anger
Hey Now
Some Might Say
Cast No Shadow
She's Electric
Morning Glory
Champagne Supernova

Not one of those is a bad song. She's electric maybe the worst written song ever but is still quality, far as i'm concerned its the best album.....ever.

I have them all, and went to see them at Sheffield Arena last December, which was brilliant.

I get knocked for it, but im a massive fan of Oasis, and like all there new stuff as well as there old. As far as im concerned, you cant go wrong with any of there albums.
