This movie is old to me but is still my number one favorite. If you have not seen this movie you must rent it or buy it and if you want to watch it before I spoil some of it.
This movie is about a young man about 14 to 16 years of age. His mother, a little miss prissy, drops him off at his two great uncles house. The reason is that there is supposedly billions hidden there and she wants him to find it. The two uncles are brothers
These two old men just sit outside all day and wait for salesmen to drive up the gravel road to the old home with an exciting surprise for them. After long enough of doing nothing the boy goes to bed discovering a picture in a locked chest in the attic where he sleeps. The picture is of a woman that you will soon learn about in a series of stories that one of the uncles tells the young man. The night the young man finds the picture he notices one of his uncles is standing outside. The young man walks down to the pond where his uncle is standing inches away from getting his attention when the other uncle stops him saying that he is sleepwalking. This is where the first part of the stories start.
So after long the boy here up to the part where the woman from the picture comes into play. She was the uncles lover in the past. But for the boy to find out what happened to here he must ask that uncle but he does not want to talk about it.
While gaining the courage to ask, the boy encourages them to buy stuff from the salesmen and use it. They even buy a clay pidgin launcher.
The boys mother comes back with a business man asking about the money, but the boy was hacking so much fun he forgot to look for the money. The man that come back with is mother says he is a detective and tells the boy that the money is stolen. The boy remembers the stories that the two uncles told him and believes they were true and refuses to help look for the money.
So I don't spoil all of the movie for you I will stop here. There is so much stuff I left out for this reason that you need to watch it. I would rate this movie a 10/10
