i recently went to a bought sale and bought six movies. They were obviosly copys but i thought they would work on my ps2. They didnt so on i tried them my computer but i still cant work them is there any way to watch them as they are in the mpeg2 format which i cant seem to work.

Just treat the SVCDs as DVDs on a PC, so use PowerDVD or any other DVD playing software on your PC and actually play it like a DVD and not the file. PS2 and XBox will not play SVCDs, may be theres a chip that lets you but if you have a unmodified PS2 then the only things you can play are DVDs.
