It depends if you're willing to shell out £x for a new hard drive and then spend time and effort every week, or even day, transferring data over. If it's just files it might be worth nivesting on Broadband (if you don't already have it), buying a domain and then puloading everything you do - that way you can obtain it from anywhere in the world!

Balls to that, I dont have 2 hard-drives.
Why does nobody ever write an article that says
" To back up, press 1,2,3 and then copy this to that" etc etc?

Stupid IT people making their stupid jobs seem difficult in case Joe Public says "Hey, I can do that!" and then stupid IT people would be forced to play Warhammer and read White Dwarf magazines.
Bah.
I'm off to look at porn instead

If you get the right software, it's as easy as burning a CD. Your cloven-hoofs can manage that, right?

It's long winded but not difficult right?
I'm not the most techy of people and would rather not end up splintering my machine into a million different fragments, for the sake of trying to prevent that in the first place...

This is a bit long-winded, but it explains it all pretty well:

http://www.tccug.org/reviews/barlow.html

Basically, you back up an "image" of what you file system looks like (settings, partitions, etc), then you burn it to hell!

First Class!
I feel that your service on this occasion was absolutely first class - a model of excellence. After this, I hope to stay with Freeola for a long time!
10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
