Hi Everyone, super noob question here around PHP. I have created my first website but wanted to password protect the main HTML page. I found the password protect PHP code on the Freeola site but im unsure how i get this working with my website. Do i need to copy this code somewhere into the main HTML page or do i just rename the PHP file to the same as my main page and upload it like that ??
Like i say im a real begginer when it comes to all of this so any of your help would be most appreciated !

If you want your PHP code to do anything, it'll need to be in a .php file.

Would have been useful if you'd reposted the code, but probably, you just should stick the PHP code in your page and rename it to whatever.php and that should probably work?
