Last week at Free-Fall, we saw an utterly amazing Time-Limit Title No Holds Barred match for the vacant SRW Euro-Continental Title. It was carnage in and out of the ring, and we witnessed many new champions, but with 10 seconds left on the clock Rhyno (Jetster) was the Champ…

____________________________

KICK OUT! 10 seconds left! Eddie’s got virtually no time left now! He stamps on Rhyno’s throat, and goes for the turnbuckle! Eddie’s climbing slowly, due to that crack in his head, but he’s up there – he loses his balance slightly, but has regained it – FROG SPLASH ON RHYNO! He’s got the cover:
1

2

*Time over buzzer!*
3! Did he? NO! It was too late! By mere milliseconds, Rhyno(Random Hero) has officially won the SRW Euro-Continental Championship! Incredible!

_____________________________

Once he had recovered, Eddie Guerrero (Cong Man) had this to say:

“So hommmeeyyy, Rhyno (Jetster) has become the new Euro-Continental Champion essa! Congratulations to him, but you see, Latino Heat was screwed! I got the pin before the buzzer went essa, and next week on Eclipse, I want a 1 on 1 match for the EC Title!”

_____________________________

(Rhyno’s music hits) This man is no one to turn down a challenge, especially as the new EC Champion! He’s greeted by a great reception from the fans who certainly appreciate the effort he made to win the Title last week at Free-Fall in that awesome match. He celebrates with the title in the ring before awaiting his opponent.

“VIVE LA RAASSAA!” A mixed but loud greeting from the crowd for the one and only Eddie Guerrero (Cong Man)! He cockily struts to the squared circle, knowing that he was only a fraction of a second away from winning the EC Title last week. He was extremely unlucky and no doubt feels he can make up for it this week.

DING DING!

The two men circle each-other in the ring before Rhyno (Jetster) dives in, but Latino Heat rolls out of the way. Rhyno lunges again only to meet the turnbuckle as Eddie (Cong Man) does the same, and his third and final attempt is met by a standing dropkick! Eddie (Cong Man) laughs and slaps Rhyno (Jetster) insultingly around the face! Ooooooh – the fans don’t like that!

Rhyno (Jetster) doesn’t either, and he begins to throw some hard right-hands! Eddie staggers back into the ropes and Rhyno knocks him out of the ring with a powerful clothesline! He follows him to the outside, where he uses his amazing upper body strength to lift Eddie high above his head, before dropping him stomach-first on the security barrier!

Rhyno (jetster) celebrates momentarily, but this costs him as Eddie (Cong Man) slashes at the EC Champ’s eyes! And now Eddie throws him shoulder-first into the steel steps – SMASH! BRUTAL IMPACT! The referee is desperately trying to get them back into the ring and Eddie finally obliges, rolling the champ back into the ring and making a cover, but Rhyno (Jetster) gets his leg on the bottom rope.

Eddie goes for a Reverse Chin Lock but Rhyno easily escapes with some sharp elbows to the temple, before whipping him harshly into the turnbuckle. Eddie stops, turns and GORE GORE GO – CRACK! EDDIE (CONG MAN) SKIPPED OUT OF THE WAY AND RHYNO’S SHOULDER SMASHED INTO THE RING POLE!

Rhyno (Jetster) is writhing on the floor in pain, that’s the same shoulder that hit the steel steps too! Eddie (Cong Man)’s eyes seem to light up as he senses a weakness – like a shark he smells blood and now moves in for the kill, as he begins to work on that shoulder with a Chickenwing Crossface. Rhyno desperately tries to fight out of it and get to his feet, but Eddie (Cong Man) counters with an Armbar Takedown!

Eddie (Cong Man) pulls Rhyno (Jetster) to one corner of the ring, before stepping to the outside. He grabs Rhyno’s arm, and WHAM! He rams into the ring pole! Again! And a third time! Now he lies the right arm across the apron, before climbing up there himself, and dropping his leg right on the shoulder! It could easily be separated, the champ’s right shoulder has taken a real battering so far in this match!

Eddie (Cong Man) leapfrogs over the top rope and crashes into Rhyno (Jetster)’s midsection, knocking all the wind out of him! Eddie senses a quick victory here, he’s dominated most of this match, and he looks to finish it off by heading to the top rope!

FROG SPLASH – BUT NOBODY HOME! RHYNO (JETSTER) ROLLED OUT OF THE WAY!

Eddie (Cong Man) is stunned and he staggers to his feet, completely oblivious to the fact that Rhyno (Jetster) is lining him up from the other side of the ring – this sold-out audience are on their feet in anticipation! He goes for the Gore – BUT EDDIE (CONG MAN) PULLS THE REFEREE IN THE WAY – WHAM! GORE GORE GORE TO THE REF!

Even though it wasn’t such a powerful Gore thanks to his shoulder problems, it’s still enough to keep our match official down and out for probably quite a while…Eddie (Cong Man) isn’t wasting anytime, planting him with a textbook Overhead Suplex! And another! And a third suplex Latino Heat style!

Eddie (Cong Man) is pumped and he scampers to the top once again – FROG SPLASH – WHAM! AWESOME HANG TIME!

It’s pointless making a cover though, so instead Eddie (Cong Man) heads to the outside…oh man, he’s gotta steel chair! Rhyno (Jetster) is looking pretty damn lifeless, and now Eddie (Cong Man) has something in mind…he takes Rhyno’s arm, lies it across the ring and points to that right shoulder…no way is he gonna do this…CLANG!!! BRUTAL STEEL CHAIR SHOT TO THE INJURED SHOULDER OF RHYNO (JETSTER)!

CLANG! AND ANOTHER ONE, THIS TIME TO THE HEAD! The fans boo and jeer loudly as Rhyno (Jetster) rolls to the outside, I’m not sure he’s gonna be able to recover from that!

Referee Teddy Long (Tony) is stirring and Eddie (Cong Man) points out that Rhyno (Jetster) is outside the ring, and the ref has to begin a count-out.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE! There’s no sign of life from Rhyno (Jetster) yet.

FOUR!

FIVE!

SIX! Is the EC Title headed Eddie Guerrero (Cong Man)’s way!?

SEVEN!

EIGHT! RHYNO (JETSTER) IS STIRRING, BUT IS IT TOO LATE!

NINE!

And Eddie (Cong Man) is already celebrating, he’s on his knees crying, he’s the new EC Champion!

“TEN!” He screams delightedly, “TEN!”

He turns back – GORE GORE GORE!!! HOLY S**T! WHAT A GORE FROM RHYNO (JETSTER)! AND HE’S FALLEN INTO A COVER, THE REF IS COUNTING!

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!!! RHYNO (JETSTER) HAS RETAINED HIS EC TITLE!

Rhyno (Jetster) quickly escapes the ring holding his right shoulder, grinning from ear-to-ear as the crowd cheer wildly, how did he not get counted out? Lets watch the replay.

As we can see, Teddy Long (Tony) was literally in the middle of counting ten when Rhyno (Jetster) suddenly got to his feet and slid into the ring, looks like he was playing possum! Eddie (Cong Man) turned away at nine and celebrated too early!

For the second time in as many weeks, Eddie Guerrero (Cong Man) has been half a second away from winning the Euro-Continental Championship, but both times he has ended up with nothing!

Top action...could this be what we see at SummerSlam...a Rhyno win over Eddie Guerrero.

Nice match, I enjoyed it. The end was original to SRW matches, we rarely have count-outs. Errr, yeah.

So coolio stuffio from Anttehio.

That was a nice touch at the finish. I can't remember though, can countouts lead to title changes? Never mind because it rocked. Rhyno survives with his title intact.
