Yes, Planetarion is great, and even despite the long real-time waiting periods, it's addictive.
But...
Does anyone know of any other, similar games - real-time ones - which are worth playing? Preferably free, or with a low monthly payment.
I'm not overly interested in constant action; I like the real-time aspect of Planetarion, and only having to log in a few times every day. I just want another similar game (or maybe two) to fill in the time while things are being built or researched in Planetarion.
I've looked at a few others on the web but generally they seem poorly presented or just uninteresting.
Any pointers gratefully received!

I always turn them off, pages load quicker that way, but sometimes you miss the good stuff like Dot Cotton and Spiderman....

One thing that really infuriates me - not just on Planetarion, but many other sites too - is that no matter what problems they have, they alway make sure the bloody advertising banners work!
Pages may not load - graphics may not appear - pages may not be found - but you can guarantee the sodding adverts will never fail!

Try infantry, the banner is within the P website, but you need to do a download for it, that's all.
