People buy games consoles for the games, becuase they want to have some fun. They don't buy consoles because of their specs. Do they? I've decided to keep out of any discussions over which console is better because being a new owner of a PlayStation 2 I have come round to a new way of thinking. A sort of rule, which I intend to stick by. As long as I enjoy playing the game, I don't care what format it's on.
So why do people rage over which consoles better? Well because they've put a lot of money into buying it and they want to defend their decision. I don't mind that but, why oh why are people having these ridiculous arguments over which console is better? The three major consoles (N64,PS2,Dreamcast and if you want PS1) All have their fare share of good games. If the games good, who cares?
If the three companys stop trying to beat each other with specs and actually try working on getting out decent games for their consles, they might find out that people care about the games, not the consoles.
Having said all that though, the N64 still reigns supreme. *joke*
