They are clearly Not both the same, One is Chunky and in most gaming homes in the country, and the other is battling it out with the Pikachu N64 but is either better, In my view...no, I think they are just as good as eachother, I mean yes there is a PSOne screen which would make car journeys a 'helluva' lot more enjoyable and all the light gun works with both but I mean the PSOne looks fairly flimsy and the lid looks about as durable as a plastic spoon in a blast furnace but hey, if it works....it works, I am not going to put either down but compared to the Dreamcast and Nintendo 64 they are not the most structurally sound consoles around are they, but compared to each-other they seem to be neck and neck all the way, PSONE advantage Portable screen, bit pricey though next to £100 in most shops. PSX advantage, durable lid, less likely to snap and damage.

I wouldn't mind either but i'd go for a PSOne, I am completely sold by that super lid, plus I am yet to play anything other than a Gameboy in the Car, I wouldn't mind playing MGS in the way to London...or Pembrokeshire...

I agree with The Game, I mean the PSOne is a bit flimsy but is compact as a coupé and certainly one for the road. I don't think that 4-inches is quite enough but having said that it is for the more simpler games like crash Bandicoot, rather than a car racing game packed full of sponsors, although it is only about 1.5 inches bigger than the Gameboy Advance!

But yeah I would go with a PSOne, I am DC and 64 man Myself but hey, I am open to more games!

Essentially the PSX and PSOne are the same except that they look different. Anyway you can't get the big PSX's anymore - only the 'ickle PSOne's.
