We’re all ready for the Hardcore encounter between John Cena (Afrojoe) and the recently crowned Hardcore champion, The Jackal (RM18)! The title is not going to be on the line and Billy Gunn (Asher D) and Mick Foley (RM18) will be allowed at ringside for this Hardcore bout. Batista (Figo) hasn’t made the trip after being injured in the TLC match at Freefall, which finally saw him lose the Hardcore title to The Jackal. The remaining members of the Hardcore Revolution have demanded payback and they have a chance tonight!
We head into The Jackal’s locker room to see what he is up to. We see The Jackal focused intently, just staring at the Hardcore title in front of him.
“I want to thank you Foley (RM18). You given me the edge I’ve needed to win what I’ve sought for so long, the Hardcore title! I’ve dreamt of being termed along with you, Foley, as Hardcore champion and I want to build my legacy around the fact that I will be the best Hardcore champ I can be!”
“I’m pleased that I had some influence in your growing ability as a Hardcore wrestler but there is something you need to work on. You can’t keep phasing in and out of those mind states. One day, it will catch up to you! Keep your mind focused on the task!”
We back away out of the room and we are ready for tonight’s Hardcore match. The Hardcore Revolution’s music hits and out struts John Cena (Afrojoe) and Billy Gunn (Asher D). Cena enters the ring and grabs a mic. I guess we are going to get a rap!
The Jackal’s contorted piano music plays immediately and Cena is furious! He had some things he wanted to say and The Jackal (RM18) isn’t having any of it! Cena slides out of the ring and grabs a chair. He slides back in and encourages The Jackal to step into the ring! The Jackal and Mick Foley (RM18) stand on the outside and The Jackal hands the Hardcore belt to Foley. The Jackal shows no fear and steps into the ring. The bell immediately goes and Cena wastes no time in smacking The Jackal with the chair!
It doesn’t faze The Jackal at all! Cena seems perplexed. Cena bounces off the ropes, chair in hand… WHAM!! This time, Cena clocks The Jackal square in the head and he flies over the top rope! The Jackal’s lack of movement shows real disdain for his opponent’s abilities. He doesn’t want to become too confident. He certainly had some sense knocked into him with that last shot!
Cena (Afrojoe) throws the chair to Gunn (Asher D) and he holds it up in front of The Jackal (RM18). Cena climbs the turnbuckle and dropkicks the chair! Foley (RM18) quickly comes round and evens the score by throwing Gunn into the crowd! Cena grabs his chain and starts pummelling the ribs of The Jackal! Cena throws The Jackal into the ring and Cena climbs in and lines up The Jackal… BIG CHAIN PUNCH!! Cena goes for the cover… 1…
THE JACKAL POWERS OUT! Cena forces The Jackal into the corner and starts punching The Jackal in the head with that chain! The Jackal is bleeding a little! Cena signals to Gunn to throw him the chair again… The Jackal grabs Cena in a choke and drags him to the corner. The sight of blood has sent The Jackal into a frenzy! The Jackal unloads on Cena in the corner, Gunn is sneaking up from behind… WHAM!! Gunn gets a chair punched into his face! How did The Jackal know he was coming?
Cena (Afrojoe) has sneaked out of the ring and The Jackal (RM18) follows him out but he starts searching under the ring and pulls out the 2X4 in barbed wire again! Cena was heading back towards The Jackal but a look of fear swept across the face of Cena on seeing that barbed wire! Cena implores The Jackal to drop the barbed wire stick but The Jackal has that look in his eye! GUNN FROM BEHIND!!
FOLEY TAKES OUT GUNN!! Foley (RM18) has had enough of Gunn (Asher D) and starts kicking him up the ramp and to the back! It’s one on one now! Cena takes the 2X4 and is waiting for The Jackal to get up… OOH! Straight into the head of The Jackal! That’s busted The Jackal open a little wider now! The camera looks at The Jackal’s face and he’s smiling! He’s enjoying the pain! Cena grabs The Jackal’s head and snaps it forward and covers The Jackal on the outside! 1… 2…
KICK OUT! Well, it looked like 2 but I think it was about 1.9. Cena (Afrojoe) can’t keep The Jackal (RM18) down for very long so he tries to increase the impact slightly… WHAM! Cena rams The Jackal into the ring post! Cena mouths something about Batista (Figo) and starts pulling stuff off the announcer’s table! SMACK!! Cena uses the monitor on The Jackal’s head! Cena has bought himself some time and throws The Jackal onto the announcer’s table. Cena climbs on and puts The Jackal on his shoulders… F U!!

KICK OUT!! CENA CANNOT BELIEVE IT!!! The Jackal powered out with authority and sat straight up! What an inhuman performance! The Jackal stands up! Cena cannot believe it. The Jackal floors Cena and throws him into the steel steps! The Jackal picks up Cena and sets him up in a DDT position… OH MY! THE JACKAL DID A DDT PILEDRIVER LIKE MOVE ON THE STEEL STEPS!!! Cena looks out of it! The Jackal covers! 1… 2…
KICK OUT BY CENA!! Good resilience by Cena (Afrojoe)! The Jackal (RM18) doesn’t care and grabs the top of the steps… WHAM!! STRAIGHT INTO THE GUT OF CENA! OOOH! THE JACKAL JUST DROPPED THE STEPS ON THE HEAD OF CENA! The Jackal picks Cena up and throws him into the ring and The Jackal pulls a table from underneath the ring and slides it in the ring! He sets the table up in the ring and picks up Cena…. JACKALKNIFE POWERBOMB THROUGH THE TABLE!!!
There is something going on backstage and The Jackal is distracted by the SpecialTron. It’s Foley! He’s been being helped into an ambulance! Gunn must have done a number on him! Foley (RM18) is getting there under his own power but it seems they wanted him to go on a stretcher. Foley was having none of that though. The Jackal looks angry and looks to have gone into a trance again!
The crowd boo as Gunn (Asher D) appears from the crowd! He comes up behind The Jackal… BIG CLOTHESLINE ON GUNN! The Jackal (RM18) is furious! He puts a chair on the almost unconscious Cena (Afrojoe) and picks up Gunn… JACKALKNIFE POWERBOMB ON THE CHAIR ON CENA!! The Jackal isn’t done yet! He throws Gunn to the outside and picks up Cena again… JACKALKNIFE POWERBOMB!!! CENA LOOKS HELPLESS!! The ref is pleading with The Jackal to end this but there is nothing he can do! The Jackal makes the cover! 1… 2…
3!! THE JACKAL WINS! The medical staff come to check on Cena and Gunn as The Jackal slowly heads up the ramp. Hold on, something is coming on the SpecialTron! It’s Batista (Figo)!
