Serbia & Montenegro 1:0 Wales, had to get that in ;) it's amazing to of thought they beat Italy...

Overall: Yay but Nay at times.

The thing that annoyed me was all the fuss about Beckham returning on BBC/ITN.

Sure hes great, but Lampard actually scored a goal, not a penalty.

Why the hell is Beckham so popular? Hes a thick as sh*t overpayed monkey boy who isn't actually as good as mos**t other top class players.......Ooo!

Norway 0-0 Scotland

Boring as hell, but good for us, as Norway are considered a much better team.

Well this is the longest winning streak England have under Sven. I thought we played some good football at times, and was particularly impressed with Dyer.

I thought we could of got a couple more, but so could they. Croatia are a bad attacking team which was good for us, as our defence was shoddy at times.


I'm still confused with why Sven is refusing to pick Gareth Barry for the left midfield. I was listening to shearers commentating and he said that Sven has tried everyone on the left and he can't find a suitable player.

I don't mind friendlies, it's just the fact Sven ruins the spectacle by replacing most of the team. I know it's a good way of trying out players, but I don't like seeing players who are playing a blinder being substituted. However, some of the subs played well, notably Lampard.

I tend to agree - friendly's are a bit of a bore and mindless at times.

Well at least England won and nice to see Lampard score a cracker.

I just thought it should be pointed out (and maybe put in the record books) that England had 4 chelsea players on the pitch at one time. 4 out of 11......not bad......

I wasn't too impressed by England's defending in the first half. Let through way too many chances. Much better game in the second half and an excellent goal from Lampard. Croatia could have had the game won in the first if their shots had been more accurate, it just wasn't their night.
