There is a recent trend occurring within the industry, Games have outgrown games, they are no longer just a game, it is a Game, Soundtrack, Models of characters, custom memory cards, etc etc. But the biggest factor that shows
us how big games are becoming is Movies from a Video game. We have seen many films become a game for years now, but now we are about to see this trend reversed. Final Fantasy the Movie, Tomb Raider the Movie, Resident Evil the Movie. Well this shows how we have come on we have had up to now
poor movies (Mario Bros, Streetfighter, Mortal Kombat) which has been a shame because it seems to cheapen the series. Obviously though this is a great chance for a developer to cash in.
But the thing that amazes me is the Final Fantasy Movie is mainly made on computer, this is obviously not a big deal, Toy Story was hardly filmed on location but the Final Fantasy Movie is completely based on Computer Games, it is derived from a computer game series and mainly made on a computer game.
Forget the future of Gaming, the future of Cinema is Gaming!

The best thing about Link was the fact that he never spoke.

Lets keep it that way.

Same with Samus.

And how could you forget the Pokemon Movies?

Personally, I'd like to see a Metroid movie.

The Legend of Zelda should NEVER be made into a film either, as they'd cast some pretentious little kid as a young Link.
