CD WOW, anyone used them recently and what were they like in terms of shipping, items being available.
They have the Neon Genesis Evangelion anime Perfect Collection on Region2/4, and no one else does, if I but all 8 DVD's seperately then it costs around £160, they have it for £55...

Yeah it's definitely cheap, only thing that's stopping me ordering it is that it'll mean two less games come September :(
I've looked on an American anime forum where the users listed their top 5 anime seris, and most of the replys had it listed in their 5. I'm seriously considering it. Its still a lot cheaper than buying the discs seperatly
I haven't ordered yet, just going off what these had said. Thanks for saying about it, I can't decide whether to get it or not...

A word of caution though, you get a pop-up box if you tru to order which warns that you will be charged import tax and VAT as the box set is over the limit of being exempt. Still I looked up the cost on TARIC and for DVDs from Hong Kong the import tax is only 3.5%, with VAT on top of that, that brings the extras to 12.10 making the box set a little over £68, which is still good for that particular box set.

They have a method of getting around it.
They ship any products coming into Europe to one of thier "locations" in Sweden or somwhere in the EU and then it gets shipped to you. (i think)

I've bought stuff off of eBay from sellers in Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada and America, strangely all of it seems to get here faster than most Royal Mail stuff, and for not much more. Bought a new anime DVD from a Singapore eBay seller last monday, arrived on Thursday, for 5 dollars. Plus you never pay any import tax because they label them gift....
