Doubt anyone really cares but here's my opinion. I went to the Staforshire(sp) one. I enjoyed those bands that I saw.

The Hives were great just because of Pele mainly. A nice mix of songs that really did get the crowd going. Pele was a cocky as you like but still managed to get away with it.

Queens of the Stone age weren't too bad. Could have played to the crowd a little more though.

Ash were great as I'd expect and they threw three new songs in to the mix. Looking good for the next album. If their set was longer then they might have had chance to play a few of their other songs such as "Lose control"

Feeder played very well and the sound quality was great. Shame they didn't play any older songs but that didn't surprise me.

Foo Fighters played a good set but I think they would have done better as headliners as they would have had chance to play a few other songs that were missing from their set. Could have cut down on the extension of the songs to fit a few more in though. Thankfully they finished with "Everlong".

Red Hot Chili Peppers played a nice varied set with a mix of old and new. A little too heavy on the new stuff but still good set overall until the ran out of time towards the end so they could only preforem one song for the encore, that song was "Under the bridge" so they ended up missing out "Californication".

Overall the experiance was quite enjoyable except for the obvious over priced food and the God awfull port-a-loos(sp). Plus the fact that I got some weird thing on one of my toes now. Might go again next year depending on the line up. Might be worth checking out Reading or Leeds next year though we shall see.

I thought the Chili's were incredible, they really do know how to put on a good show.

Just talking to a friend who went. He said the Foo's were great, The Coral were good, but the Chili Peppers were a bit disappointing.

I got back earlier today and was thinking about it just. The line-up was pretty crap, but there were enough bands there to keep me happy. Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, The Hives and Coldplay were all bands that I really enjoyed, although I enjoyed Coldplay from my tent, where I could see the screen perfectly.

I've just mainly chilled this weekend, not going to close, just appreciating the music from a distance, which is better, because you don't have to go back to your cold tent feeling like you've just been swimming.

I also went to see The Distillers, as many of my mates said I needed to broaden my horizons. Good job I did, cause I know not to go anywhere near them ever again.

My brother went.

I'll see what he thought of it.
