Games are there for us to enjoy, yes? But in some way we sub-conciously (yes I know I can't spell) must pick up something from these games. It just must happen!

What di we learn? I don't know, you reply and let others know.

One thing I find great fun about a game is not reading the instruction manual and finding out the controls for yourself. It's a right laugh! Thats a kind of learning experience.

Reply here and let me know what you think.

You could set an RPG in any time frame in a background of historical events.

They wouldn't have to have a direct effect on the game either, they'd just be happening!

Or Beat 'em up through time! Travel through time and take on various different people.

Take on Queen Victoria, Adolf Hitler, and a bunch of hippies. What fun!

World War 2 games, I suppose.

And World War 1 games.

And any other war as well.

It's an interesting idea. A lot of war games are besed on real historical events. Some sports games have 'scenario' modes which pitch you in past events to rewrite history.

What other games can you base on past occurences?
An adevenure game based on the fact that only one person has ever escaped from alcatraz?(prolly already been done though)
Maybe some sort of simulation on the 50's and 60's space-race between the soviets and the americans?

I dunno. I never liked history at school ;)
