It's taken me a while to decide, considering that I saw them support Supergrass back in October, but now I think they're great.
Having had another listen to some of their singles, such at Time For Heroes, and Up The Bracket I downloaded a couple of album tracks, Horror Show, and The Good Old Days. These were also to my liking.
Thanks to illegal music piracy, I shall shortly be purchasing the album.
Mind you, not sure they've got much of a future, Pete and Carl aren't speaking, as Pete didn't show up to go on tour with them, then he broke into Carl's flat. Not only that he's admitted to being addicted to heroin and crack cocaine.
Still, what I've heard of their first album, their music is mighty fine.

The Libertines are good. Like a Clash-lite, so I've heard, but wouldn't know because I don't know much Clash. But I know my Libertines, and I like them. I saw them live at Glasto and their guitar tech (playing in place of junkie/thief Pete) looked like the absolute spit of Trevor from Eastenders. Spooky.
