I give up. I've absolutely had it with this crappy Maxx PC. It's never performed as well as a PC with this spec should do, and in the last 6 months or so, its performance has slipped downhill at an alarming rate.

So, I need a new PC. My immediate choices appear to be either Dell or Alienware. For a decent PC (c £1,000 excl. graphics card), the two are pretty close, Alien probably edging it, but does anyone know of any other decent PC manufacturers I should be checking out before make an impulse purchase?

I take it you can use the monitor/speakers and stuff from your current PC?

I think the monitor needs replacing. It shakes around the edges at random intervals.

Anyways, I haven't looked a Dell or Alienware but OcUK do some decent pre-built base units. You can get an AMD64 3500+, 1GB RAM, GF6800GT base for £880.

Arg, that's not good.
Another place to look at is Mesh.

Plus I'll suggest building it yourself because someone is inevitably going to anyway.
