It's interesting that so many also-ran premiership teams are signing such high quality players (Helder Postiga, anyone?).

what a joke, why? his wages too much? (again lisbon would have more) too old? (not in my books) why the hell did he want to go to bolton. they have some odd bunch team, but there is quality streamed throughout...
He's been suffering marriage problems, which I imagine have made his form suffer a bit.

Alladyce has a knack of aquiring players whom make me go Eh? never, Bolton!, really? when they've signed. The midtable will be crammed with teams who have some quality players but no real depth of squad. I fear for teams like Leeds and Spurs if they have a poor start...
Jardel is very consistent, but I think he'll fall out with Fatty Allardyce quickly- that is if he doesen't score often enough. :)
