To answer your questions.

There is an offline adventure, but it's small and the main bulk of the game is online, as the idea is to interact with people. I don't really think it's worth buying if you're not going online, but you could just go on at weekends for an hour or something.

PSO is an excellent game ;-) You should buy it and get yourself online cause the experience is very much worth it !

1.I didn't get a modem cable with my dreamcast,but my friend thinks he has one.
2.My dad doesn't know much it costs,aand so wont pay for it
