I thought the only flaky part was Kim Bauer's storyline... it was the only part that seemed tacked on and over the top.

But if you can believe in 'special agents' (and if you're a Die Hard fan then you can obviously cope with John McLeans) and terrorist plots then nothing in 24 is outside the realms of possibility. Jack Bauer is hella-tough though.

I think for the most part 24 is pretty realistic, given the same situation in real life I think any government would do everything and anything possible to prevent it. Look at 9/11....in the space of a day we saw a massive terrorist attack, 4 planes gone, 2000+ dead, the WTC destroyed, Pentagon on fire, fighter jets over American cities, FBI, NSA and CIA agents tracking down suspects and within 24 hours of the attacks Bin Laden was identified as the main suspect. Maybe the only unrealistic part was that the bomb was stopped, in real life I'd say it's going tp be 50/50.

WTF!? Yet earlier you wrote;

>care for sci-fi and horror films

So you don't like 24 because it is unrealistic and impossible things happen yet you are fine with Chewbacca, green aliens, zombies and Frankenstien?

OMFG, I hope I have misinterpreted you otherwise you are a class buffoon.
And as someone rightly pointed out you have only started 'yet another' 24 topic. In any case there are not that many topics and this is the place to post them, just because you don't like something doesn't mean others should not post discussions on them as long as the don't literally take up the whole forum. And for Gods sake do you ever post anything positive?
All I see in the vast majority of your posts are constant moans and quotes of sarcasm towards other users.

Please don't start another topic like this again.
