1. I have a 103mb mp3 file that I need to split to 2 parts and then burn onto 2 CD's (as audio files), I see there are about 12 MP3 splitting programs on download.com, does anyone use one regulary and can recommend a good one.

2. Is there a general calculation that tells me the size of a MP3 file when converted to an audio file ?

eg. MP3 = 5mb, Audio file eqivalent is 45mb - multiply it by 9 something ?

I bow to your knowledge, thanks

It depends on the bit rate, I think. A 103Mb MP3 is gonna produce a BIG file when you convert it!

Use musiCutter.

A CD is 1408kbps according to my copy of Animals, so that means you multiply the length in seconds by 176 to get the size in KB.
