2. Is there a general calculation that tells me the size of a MP3 file when converted to an audio file ?
eg. MP3 = 5mb, Audio file eqivalent is 45mb - multiply it by 9 something ?
I bow to your knowledge, thanks
David

Robin that all sounds a bit complicated I will do some investigating tonight, there must be a simpler equation, Algebra here we come

It depends on the bit rate, I think. A 103Mb MP3 is gonna produce a BIG file when you convert it!
A CD is 1408kbps according to my copy of Animals, so that means you multiply the length in seconds by 176 to get the size in KB.
