Wasn't too put off by Daniel Day Lewis' big comedy moustache and Dr Seuss top hat.
Ladyboy Di Craprio was, as ever, a vacuum - hoovering up onscreen talent whenever he slouched into view and leaving a curious "...meh" feeling towards him.
I was rooting for Bill "De Boitcher" to kill him into pieces.
Liam Neeson was thankfully only in it a bit, and sounded the least convincing Irishman of the lot - ironic.
Big sets, grubby Oirish gangs and Jim Broadbent with a nice big comedy moustache as well
All in all, recommended if you like moustaches, ginger-haired Oirish singing hoo-ers etc etc.
A bit like Titanic, but with machetes.
Going to watch "Equilibrium" later on. Haven't seen it and fancy mindless shooty sci-fi. And don't anyone bother saying "it's crap", because your opinion doesn't matter to me and I wont check back here till after anyway.
NB - retard in Blockbuster, "I carn't prunaans that one but it's back tumorra"
"Equilibrium?"
"Yes, thas the one, I carn't prunaans it. Hee hee hee"
"Have you got monkeygirl till punch? It's got Jet Li in?"
"Nah, 'ees that Bruce Lee geeza innee?"
"That's right. Thank you."
Anyway, I'm going to stand up and be honest here - I think Leo DiCaprio is a great actor. In addition to this hefty embarrassment, I think The Beach is an amazing film.
There goes the last bit of credibility my opinion had.

heh
> I bought The Tuxedo, just fancied a little silly fun.
This film is funny, really cheesy, slap-stick. Chan has changed, but he gets away with it.
Gangs of New York is a film I must get around to buying, missed it at the cinema so it'll be perfect to catch it on DVD.
> Equilibrium is crap

And the yawning chasm of predictability opens and swallows the planet whole
*slow clap*
It must be tough being witty.

That's funny, I thought he was a lot of hot air. Hawhaw.
