I've got a ZX Spectrum +2 with over 200 games.

If I were to sell them all together, I wouldn't expect more than £150 for the lot.

SR should let you have your old name back, you seem a nice person, don't know why they ever banned you in the first place, look at all these idiots on tonight spamming the place up...

Yeah, maybe in shops they will go for more, but online there are plenty to be had, safe to say that if someone buys one from a store then they don't have access to something like eBay.

See, £4.99 for that lot ! Most games on eBay barely crack the £5 mark, commonly they won't get above a couple of quid.

The original poster's idea of swapping for a decent console is still insane beyond belief though :)

I agree but i know some second hand shops that sell them and they do go for quite a fair bit of money.

What im saying is you do get the few people who will pay a small fortune for them,

Honestly Angel, no retro console, even if it's absolutely mint with all packaging and manuals is worth much nowadays. Spectrum's and any tape based thing - the games are all emulated on PC and consoles and no one really wants to wait 30 minutes for a real tape game to load anymore.
