Is it just me, or is league football getting a little predictable?? In England Manchester United running away with the title, and in Scotland Celtic running miles away with the title. I think that its time for a change. I think the way forward for football, is to unite the top three teams, from each country in the whole world, and enter them all into a Superleague. This may seem a tad harsh on the lesser teams left behind leagues, but that will open the door for the smaller teams(eg. Aberdeen Scotland) to go on and try and win the league title. This would make things much more exciting, what would you rather have, a lowley fixture like Man United against Bradford, or an exellent game like Man United against Barcellona?? I know what i would have!! This is the way forward in developing younger players for bigger games week in week out. If this idea became too much for the teams playing top opposition every week, you could have the Superleague evey second year, making things less strenuous on the players. The teams could return to their origonal leagues and return to the old way for another season. I think this is an excellent idea, as in England leagues ranging from the Premier Division to the Vaxhual Confrence are already too big, having nearly twenty teams per Division. Im sure that if FIFA cheifs were to sit down and talk about this idea, i think it would prove to be sucessfull.

How can you say that meka_dragon I will get my flock of sheep (who support Aberdeen o eat you)

Maybe at start we would struggle, but we have lack of money, and playing bigger teams than say St Mirren we would generate more cash and hopefully improve!

Would a Euro league take the shine out of European competition?

I can't see fans traveling on the continent week in week out either.

Also would there be relegation and promotion? If so how would it work?

If the one team from each country that finished lowest had to drop out, replaced by the winners of their domestic league, it might lead to an Italian team having to drop out, even if the finished in the top half of the table!

If just the bottom teams dropped out, and the league winners from each country had a competition to see who would enter the league, we'd prabably end up with 5 or 6 Italian teams, 4 4 or 5 Spanish ish teams, 4 or 5 English teams, maybe 1 or 2 teams from weaker leagues, such as Germany and France.

It could be interesting, but they'll struggle to find a format that pleases everyone.

How about a British league? It would be good to see the likes of Rangers and Celtic battling against Man Utd and Arsenal.

(And of course Aberdeen, relegated to the British division 2, struggling to beat the likes of West Brom, and Grimsby!)

yes sounds a good idea elclasso! I heard that lovely word ABERDEEN in there and yeah it would be good Aberdeen are getting quite hammered the last few years but with Rangers and Celtic out the window could make way for us to maybe win and do better!

I think the new leauges from all the other clubs in europe should be set up!
