Did you read any of the posts that people, including myself, have put up.

Goto your ISP website, usually the likes of

www.freeserve.co.uk
www.btopenworld.com
www.pipex.com

etc etc and have a look at their guides on how to setup Outlook Express for you PC with their settings. All of the ISP's write guides for OE as this is probably the most used email client at a "typical" home users computer.

Sheesh, some people!

POP3 is usually pop.server.net, or mail.server.net.

SMTP is more often than not smtp.yourisp.net or mail.yourisp.net

You can use POP3 on any ISP, however you will have to use the SMTP server that your ISP provides you.

That depends on who your ISP is. You'll have to find out from them.

Typically though it can be:

POP ADDRESSES:
pop.ISPNAME.com
pop.ISPNAME.net
mail.ISPNAME.com
mail.ISPNAME.net

SMTP ADDRESSES:
smtp.ISPNAME.com
smtp.ISPNAME.net

How do you know what your POP3 and SMTP details are? I just wrote "POP3" and "SMTP" in the boxes labelled "POP3" and "SMTP" lol :S :D

My three acounts work fine too... Whooohoo!

What I meant by disabling the anti-virus software was to allow setup of the extra accounts within Outlook. If the virus software is enabled then you get te incoming mail server error as its trying to download the mail through the virus software. Disable and then enable afterwards and the virus software should recognise new accounts and allow its software to download for those too.

And yes, more setting information would have been helpful.

Oh and another thing with Outlook, it's really crap at using multiple accounts, I've tried it and never got it to work properly.

Especially if the two accounts are on the same dial up, for example

1) [email protected]
2) [email protected]

If you've got something like this then expect user abc to recieve xyz'd emails and visa versa. If you want to keep things private then you could be stuffed.

I second that.

What errors are you actually getting? Is it a login error or an error saying it cant find the mail server?
