Just noticed that UHF, a cult film written by and staring "Weird Al" Yankovic, has been released on region 2. Now I do have a region 1 compatible player but I can never lend the DVD to other people who don't have one.
UHF is just a silly film, but silly in the same way as Naked Gun or Top Secret. Obviously, for a Weird Al film, it parodies loads of other movies, like Rambo and Gandhi, but it also has some of the best adverts too.
It's not for everyone's taste, but I love it, so I ordered it.

wird All so funny. His rip-off songs are really funny.I'm suprised that he has been ripping-off songs for almost 20 years.

uhf has been out ages on region 2, a friend has it.
i make do with my poxy old VHS version.
