have to nod in agreement hedfix, the first one was genuinely funny in parts, and had me sniggering along with most of the over the top jokes.
the second film was the worst piece of garbage I've ever had the misfortune to come into contact with.

Although it's no Airplane or Naked Gun movie. The first scary movie had some really good 'laugh out loud' moments.
I don't think it has the mileage that Austin Powers does though.
Horror movies take the pi$$ out of themselves a lot nowadays. Making a spoof of a spoof/well liked spoof is dangerous in many respects.
