I was watching Sky Sports News the other day and looking at the summer signings of all the clubs and i noticed a little omission on the United side of things.
There was Djemba-Djemba, Bellion, Howard and some other strangely named guy, from Antwerp i believe, but there was no Kleberson. I've been busy with work and stuff so haven't had much chance to read papers and watch SSN very often so have i missed something? Has the deal been cancelled and we've missed out on another Brazilian?

Last I heard, we were waiting for a work-permit.
I wonder if Fergie'll still be interested with Veron staying, though?
I can't believe he just "let" Escudé sign for Ajax, though. And, without any recent pursuits for van Buyten or anyone, I very-much-doubt we'll be seeing a new defender signed at Old Trafford within the very-near future.
He obviously thinks Keane is the answer. ...I'm not sure.

It's also worth noting that the deadline for registering players for the Champion's League is the 5th of August, meaning Kleberson will have to miss out.

Yea i've seen in the papers we've been linked with that Tunisian fellow from Ajax i believe and also Carlos Puyol. I can believe the first one but a bit suspicious of Puyol coming. It'd be a awesome move if it happened but i doubt it will and it's just paper talk.

Permit is due to come through on August 11th. However, he's currently playing in the Brazilian league, and isn't fresh, so he may be given some time off whilst we have a fit squad before he really comes into it.

I was wondering the same thing, but in the papers today they say he is due over next week to sign up once the work permit has been issued.
