I bought this book in the airport and have read about half of it so far, it is a great book but it drags a bit towards the middle - two whole chapters on 'The draft riots' in history-text-book style.

I want to know a few things...

What is a 'brickbat' ?

Is a 'score' (Expressed as a figure) a hundred?

The book is decent (at least so far it is) and makes more sense of the movie (which I am a big fan of).

score is 20 its still a modern word! like dozen or bakers dozen just an odd term for a specific number.
