Round 13 of 17 takes us to Hungary and this track is not like the high speeds of Germany. Hungary is slow and twisty and does not require super powerful engines to get an advantage. A good all round car/aero package is the key to success. With the Championships being so close, let's see how some of the competitors did last year.

Qualifying last year didn't really split the fast drivers from the very fast. The weather was mixed and the cars that came out in the middle of the hour got the fastest times. There was a small window and Montoya found that window, beating everyone by 3 tenths of a second. Frentzen was second followed by Yoong, Coulthard, Sato, Fisichella, Bernoldi and Barrichello. Button and Raikkonen qualified 9th and 11th, De La Rosa managed 15th, Villeneuve 18th, Ralf Schumacher 19th and Trulli 20th.

The race was dry and so the fastest drivers could make up the time and places. Montoya showed that pole position was not luck and strolled to victory, Frentzen was 2nd and Fisichella 3rd. De La Rosa just missed out on the points with 7th and Villeneuve would miss out on the points if he finished 9th again this year. Trulli 10th, Button 11th and Raikkonen 13th meant they never had a sniff of points although the gaps between them all were quite close. Ralf Schumacher and Coulthard both crashed and will be hoping not to do that again.

It's the rookies that are dominating the championship this year. Alonso is still leading the Championship but it is only 1 point and with 8 point scoring positions, the Championship lead is a tentative one. The Constructors is very close as well, with Renault just holding off B.A.R and Jordan with Williams coming up fast. Mathematically, everyone is still in the title picture with 50 points still up for grabs in the drivers and 90 available in the Constructors. It's going to be a spectacular conclusion!

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Brilliant service.
