Bad title actually...the discussion I meant to bring up was ie, Planetarion Vs Console Games. I think that the planetarion style of gaming is one that will only get more and more popular. But is it too difficult? I suppose that they are as diffcult as they are meant to be but I think with the ever growing popularity of Planetarion games and other Football managerial games they will become a lot more recognised that they are today.

Ofice workers are the number one culprits for the popularity, we all know that Tony and Dave sit back at SR and play these games when no-one is watching! - :o)

But I would have to put my money on the fact that it is console games that will keep the crown, and now that Internet Console gaming had been revolutionised by PSO and Quake 3 Arena I think that The click and Drag sites will not decline but increase in popularity for a while then stay where they are on the user popularity scale, the thing is with consoles is that you have little connection problems. With the internet, if this or that is down or not working then you are in trouble! But very few console cables break and problems are A LOT less common! Plus with consoles like the Nintendo 64 and, despite loading times, the Playstation 2, to play games it is just in and on, but there is a considerable wait when you want to get into games like Planetarion.

So for me it is videogames and Consoles but for those that want to get into a game like Planetarion of Championship Manager then that is all well and good! But I do think that there will be quite a bit of fierce competition in the future as the internet is becoming much more available to people all over the world

No there's no difference in it, except they use graphics in computer games normally.
Planetarion has a Homeworld kind of game except the ideas are used as text based online gaming,
