When my site was HTML 4.01 Transitional my CSS appeared correct in IE6 but not in NS7 (slight pixel difference).
Now that I've updated the site to XHTML 1.00 Strict the effects have reversed ie it works in NS7 now but doesn't display properly in IE6.
I'm using absolute positioning and inline sheets, is there any kind of differences between the two browsers when recognising this?
If so what can I do to fix it?

Any constructive help would be appreciated.
