I was wondering if there is anything else i can do by linking my laptop to a pc using a direct cable connection. How fast is the connection?
haven't a clue, don't know what the data transfer rate is and if it's high enough, try Windows help for DCC or just try a game. Sounds a bit too easy though (knowing Microsoft)
i have a copy of laplink, can u play games using a dcc?
From memory it wasn't very fast, there are other alternatives but from what I rememeber they were quite expensive (Laplink was one). I just burn whatever I want onto a CDRW and install it onto my PC or vice-versa (or email it to yourself if it's a small file)
