I enjoyed it, but it's hardly mainstream viewing, is it?
When David and Bruce are talking towards the end, with both sitting on metal chairs, black background, it was so basic, but it worked for me. But I could imagine that some action babies would have been getting itchy about then, wanting to see more smashage.
I loved the way it was cut like a comic book in some scenes, you'll know what I mean if/when you see it.
Only criticism, some of the action scenes were in too much darkness, and it was a bit hard to keep up. For instance, how many dogs were attacking Hulk? I thought it was three to begin with, but there seemed to be way more.
Also, it all got a little too odd, with all of that absorbing of form of everything around that his father could do.
But still, I liked it, but after a massive drop in box office takings from one week to the next (over 75% drop in US) I can't see Ang Lee being allowed to do a sequel.
The only thing I didn't like was the Hulk jumping miles at a time...
