Can anyone tell me why it takes so long to email a simple worksheet with a calculation to multiply a price by a quantity? is it the calculations that slow it down?
Is there another way to speed things up?

You could try compressing the spreadsheet by zipping it up...
Or copy the cells with the formula result and paste special them over the top as values only...
Depends on what software the person receiving has avialable and what they're going to do with the spreadsheet I supppose...
Although having said that I e-mail spreadsheets all the time and don't get any speed issues...
