Because I just sold my first piece of writing.
Yes it was to a writing website in a section that can only be submitted to by writers who had previously not had anything published for money, but hey, that's not the point.
I got paid for something I wrote. That's the point.
Hopefully the first of many.
I'd better send out more submissions whilst I feel good, as soon as the next rehjection comes in I'll be put off again...
