Sometimes when i load my laptop up it makes a loud beaping noise and makes me restart the system. Does anyone know what it is?

I sorted out the problem i think, the laptop was set to try and boot from the Cd Rom Drive, Than the Hardrive and Then the Floppy Drive, i set it to boot form The Floppy Drive, Hdrive and then cd drive.

When i open up the bios and exit them windows carrys on loading fine. Its when i dont go through Bios the beeping noise is made. Im gonna mess about with it later.

Nice to see it's not just me and Vamp with laptops, I guess your problem is with your BIOS ? that beep obviously means something, someone here might know, or your BIOS might be able to tell you ? If not you'll have to phone Technical Support :(
