Good on you. Silverstone is a great track, and unlike some tracks, still retains part of the original. A track that allows so much overtaking, not as common as it was in F1 10 years ago, should be kept. And as for the new facilities bill, Jackie Stewart's saying that the BRDC won't pay all of it. And the government are willing to pay £15m of that, and Octagon recently spent £10m on the rest of their circuits, (Mostly on Brands Hatch, only £250k on Cadwell in comparrison)so they could well contribute around £1-5m.

If that happens, It's £20m for Jackie and chums to pay up. Unless the FIA helps out, which they won't.

Pizzonia has been fired from Jaguar and Wilson has taken his place. Minardi have got some F3000 driver now. I have no idea how to spell his name.

An uproar would occur (by me) if Silverstone was removed from the calendar.

As regards the overtaking, it was funny that Montoya said that there would be little to no overtaking and that it was very difficult to overtake.

That idiot won't affect whether Silverstone will be on the calendar or not. The facilities are rather bad. The FIA never did anything to the German GP when an idiot wondered onto the track in 2000.

He was a bloody moron and thankfully he didn't cause an accident which could have seriously injured the drivers (i don't care if he got hurt the idiot deserves it) and took the spotlight off what was really a magnificent race. How the FIA can even think of scrapping the British GP after what we saw on Sunday from the drivers i have no idea. The Grand Prix calender needs Silverstone in it each year, one of the few races that isn't a boring procession

I think some of the more lowly drivers liked the chance to race high up the order and try to stop Schumacher from passing them.

It's funny, dangerous and crazy so I don't know what to think. The race was pretty special though.
