Good on you. Silverstone is a great track, and unlike some tracks, still retains part of the original. A track that allows so much overtaking, not as common as it was in F1 10 years ago, should be kept. And as for the new facilities bill, Jackie Stewart's saying that the BRDC won't pay all of it. And the government are willing to pay £15m of that, and Octagon recently spent £10m on the rest of their circuits, (Mostly on Brands Hatch, only £250k on Cadwell in comparrison)so they could well contribute around £1-5m.
If that happens, It's £20m for Jackie and chums to pay up. Unless the FIA helps out, which they won't.
