Round 12 takes us to Germany and this race is little wing and high speed all the way. (For those who do know that Germany have changed the track, I'm using the old track)

Last year's race was a total washout. The qualifying started dry but the track was wet after about 15 minutes and it didn't dry up for the race. With the high speed nature of the track, it was an eventful race.

Out of the current championship contenders this year, Button did the best taking pole position by being in the right place on the track at the right time. Villeneuve also did well last year with 3rd place. He was battling for the Championship last year as well. Some other notable mentions: Coulthard was 6th, De La Rosa 8th, R Schumacher 11th, Trulli 14th, Montoya 16th and Raikkonen 17th.

The race was totally unpredictable. The drivers were flying off all over the place as conditions were really bad. It was Ralf Schumacher from 11th that came through to win last year and he had to overtake Heidfeld on the last couple of laps to do it. Heidfeld came a gutsy second and De La Rosa came 3rd.

Trulli was one of the major improvers as he finished 5th from 14th. Montoya managed 9th, Raikkonen saw a lot of the scenary but still managed 11th. Button made some crucial errors and finished 12th. Villeneuve and Coulthard both retired and Fisichella had a really quiet race. He started 19th and finished 14th.

This race is important as time is running out for the chasing pack to get in touch with the leading few. At the moment, Firman is only 1 point behind and Villeneuve is 6 points behind Championship leader Alonso. A few drivers need a win here if they want to have title hopes. Although it is still mathematically possible for Frentzen to win the Championship, I would say that 6 wins in a row is beyond him. 60 points still to play for and we could be writing off a few drivers Championship hopes at the end of this race.

The Constructors Championship is just as close with long time leaders Renault being hauled in by last year's constructors champions B.A.R and Jordan. Williams have also had a revival and could be contenders. A maximum of 108 points still available in the Constuctors Championship so anything is still possible.

Championships could be won and lost here. The SR F1 Championship is heading into the home straight! You won't want to miss what happens here!

Not been here for a while due to the computer being broke, so I'm not sure where I am on the leader board.

Same for Button, qualifying-wise. And if he won or came 2nd/3rd...

I'd be happier.

Can't wait. Hopefully I'll take the lead here, so I want Alonso to finish out of the top 8.
