Yes! Bobby Zamora to Spurs for around 2million. SOunds good to me. Well correct me if im wrong but that will give our strike force an average age of........

*gets out calculator*

....... 20 + 22 + 21 = 63

....... 63 / 3 = 21

so thats a very young strike frce which could also be called....decent! POstiga who proved on his debut he was up to the standards of the premiership, keane who proved himself last season and at leeds in the past and finally Zamora, 56goals in two seasons for Brighton just about sums him up....a great player and a great buy for 2 million.

your views here please......

Or, they could use less of that crappy midfield and play a 4-3-3 with Keane, Zamora and Postiga up front. That would be a positive attack that could help them push towards a UEFA cup slot.

And Bobby Zamora scores AGAIN!!

Looks like Glenn Hoddle may actually be capable of signing decent players, after all! ;D

And Darren Anderton scored a great goal - even though it was more of a surprise to see him fit and actually PLAYING after spending most of his career behind the sidelines! :D

Robbie Keane, Bobby Zamora and that Portuguese-bloke...
Someone's gonna have to go, eventually.

Unless Hoddle sees sense and decides to play something "new" and 'different', using Robbie Keane as the playmaker behind the front-two...?

i would like to say how amazing bobby zamora is and.....welcolme to the premiership. today he showed great vison and pace, and that was only his two goals. yes two goals in a half on your debut is not bad.

Well done lad

Oxford 0-1 Spurs

Scorer :: Bobby Zamora

8mins: Driving diagonal run into the box by Etherington, shot back across Cox rolled a yard wide.
9mins: Zamora's pace took him away from Bound but Cox equal to powerful shot straight at him.

11mins: Hughes ball over the top diverted just wide by Zamora, tricky chance.

15mins: Low drive from Jackson from half-cleared corner blocked on line by Bound.

21mins: Poyet found Zamora in box, yard of space, buried it under Cox. 1-0.

25mins: Surging run from Etherington, delicious one-two between Poyet and Zamora but tame effort at the end from Poyet.

33mins: Quick break from Widdrington but Henry back in time to nick the ball away from Alsop.

Spurs are playing a reserve side today, except Zamora and Poyet. Keane is on the bench.

oh and i would like to add DW that spurs were not playing their full team whatever it may look like. If you think that Slabber is a first team pklayer then you are very much mistaken!

in your words: :c)

At least you've seen Postiga play.

And another result from te friendlies- Mansfield beat Man City 3-2!

I hate both of them, I must add, but then it is both a giantkilling of sorts. But City weren't probably playing their full first team.

I would like to congratulate Wycombe, on what for them was a great result. 3-2 at home to a Premiership side. It is on this note that i am disgusted with the way Spurs played and especially the fact Zamora did not play. New signing, you want to get him out and give him a feel of the team. But oh no, Hoddle had to be difficult and it is for this reason, Spurs got a mesely 3-2 scoreline.

You can actually bring yourself to wear a Wycombe shirt in public? You must have a pride factor of near enough 0.

That is all for now.

Oh and you lost. HAHAHA.
