Didn't he leave for the princely, if disapointing sum of £25 million? Or are Utd hoping that some people haven't watched the news, read the papers, listened to the radio or spoken to anyone since May, and have been locked up in their homes like a group of recluses, only emerging when the new shirts are released?

Even worse is the fact that some of shirts have a problem and the laucnh has bee been delayed.

Unfortunately a slight problem has been identified with a small number of the new away shirts prior to their delivery. For this reason, Nike has decided to delay delivery whilst all products are checked to ensure that all of the shirts are of the excellent quality that you expect. The new delivery date will be communicated as soon as possible. Regular updates will be posted on manutd.com.
Nike and Manchester United apologise for the delay. Should you have any further questions, please contact the Nike help line on 0800 056 1640.
