What I would like, though, is to have a laptop. Now, most people would consider a laptop a really good idea for working outside of the home or office. Word processing and spreadsheets can be done in nicer surrounding than your usually drab office, you can even use the internet if you have the right connections. But me? I want portable PC games. That's why I yern for a laptop. Red Alert, Star Trek Elite Forces, all my emulators, all within my grasp when I'm away from home. That would be a dream come true.
Who cares about battery life? Just plug it in a mains socket when no-ones looking and use the battery when you're out of reach of electricity. TFT colour screens and all the power of a PC in one handy little machine, it will be mine, oh yes it will be mine!
