I thought they disappeared ages ago. Working the other day I was shocked to see loads of pokemon cards lying around and my cousin keeps asking me for the ones that I had ages ago.

Turns out (so says my boss) that pokemon never has died out and I must have just grown up and not taken any interest in them.

Anybody else notice a sudden fluctuation of pokemon popularity?

Nothing to do with the new Pokemon games coming out on DS, then?

Anyway, he was right. Pokemon has been on TV all this time with new episodes and new series. Pokemon games have come out for the GBA/SP and now DS and though they're not at the height they were 4 or 5 years ago, they're still pretty popular.
