My parents got a puppy when I was a few months old. I learnt to walk really quickly because of that dog.
As she walked around the house, I'd hold onto her and just trundle around after her.
Now, I'm not scared of any dogs but I still know 18 year olds who are because they never had pets. They shouldn't be scared, it's just wrong...

You can't move them. They lay on the kitchen floor in front of the cuboards (cold tiled floor) and they won't budge!
You have to literally slide them accross the floor!
And they're not 'rats' either, big fat hairly Golden Retrievers...
