The last PC game I bought was UT2003 (in Nov 2002 I think), my 800 Celeron and GEForce 2 were on their last legs and I had really lost interest in the PC gaming side of things (due to my PS2 and 'Cube - life without blue screens is great!).
But now I have a new 2.8ghz laptop and although not to sure how hot the 3D graphics side of things is (I am willing to upgrade if it's crap) want to get back into the FPS and Racing style games.
I see that none of the big FPS releases for 2003 have arrived yet except Unreal 2 (the new Counter Strike game was down for a March 2003 release last time I looked)
Looks like Half Life 2, Doom 3, UT2004, and Quake 4 will be arriving from Sept onwards, have I missed any ?
Have any good racing (two or four wheels) games been released this year, can't see many in the charts and I already have Vice City for the PS2.
I have read up on the latest desktop/laptop 3D cards so think I've caught up with life in the PC Gaming world. Anything obvious I should know or buy ?
One last question, has anyone subscribed to game.net or what other servers are you all playing online on ?
