Space after news/.

Man United have apparently agreed a £14 million offer from Chelsea for Veron, and Veron will be having talks in the next couple of days.

Yeah, it's Man United.com (the only place with this news), but it's very probably true. Another big signing for Chelsea then if the deal does go through, although who says Veron won't do crud there as well? :-)

Alex Ferguson may be quite annoyed that the player's value has decreased by half since he bought Veron, though.

John O'Shea plays left Back (and maybe in Centre mid at times) and Ron would play either Right wing or Behind Ruud, so how do they affect each other?

Yes, but you know how skilfull and talented the young Irishman is, and how he can create many-an-attack down that left-hand-side - like Silvestre should be doing, instead!

Because O'Shea is a defender and Ronaldinho isn't? That's a pretty good reason

I have thought about that...

If Fergie is willing to let Veron go so Ronaldinho can be the inspirational "Cantona" all-over-again, then, if he's looking to rid the side of too much competition for the Brazillian, why doesn't he let John O'Shea go?? :)

I think Veron's problem has always been that he's the only "flair" player in an otherwise non-flair team. The captures of Ronaldinho and Kleberson will only complement Veron's style of play, and work better for the team (I hope). Or Veron could flop again, Ronny could get sent off every other game, Kleberson make almost no impact, and Djemba could attain the worst disciplinary record in premiership history.

We'll see.

If Fergie believes Vieria will even consider going to United he's a bigger idiot than i gave him credit for. Unless they offer him some astronomical wages i very much doubt he'd come because of all the hassle he'd get. He's much more likely to go to Spain or Italy

There's a thing on the back of one of the paper's today where Fergie has supposedly told Chelsea that if they make a move for Arsénal's Patrick Vieira, he will not allow any deal they want for Juan Veron to go-ahead - and he'll reject every-single offer.

I don't see what all the fuss is about, though...
It's not like we're even AFTER Vieira with Roy Keane and Djemba-Djemba around, anyway!

But, I think we United fans will have to face-facts that Veron will be leaving, sometime this Summer. ...If Kleberson does arrive, anyway.

The Brazillian midfielder is apparently set to complete a deal today, believed to be within the region of only £5m/£7m - another great bargain-buy! :)

I still don't see how we "need" him, though...
It'll just be Veron all-over-again!

Ronaldinho's Fergie's man to replace David Beckham - not Kleberson!

From skysports

Ranieri told the Evening Standard: "We've not spoken to him (Veron). I don't know what people are on about."

Well if Fergie gets his head out his self righteous, i'm always right @rse and actually plays Veron in his more suited Attacking midfielder role instead of this stupid defensive, just in front of back 4 role that he's played in the last couple of seasons we might see the old Veron lighting up Old Trafford this season.
