Are the French/Japanese smarter than us because they teach their kids foreign languages at a young age and we don't (well, some do)?

Well, they're supposed to be able to speak a foreign language, they are from a foreighn country

They're hand picked by the top to make them look good - why would they pick clever people when all they'll do is make the people who picked them look stupid.
What's the world's biggest problem?
Overpopulation. I could name names, but I'm not that kinda guy. Can easily be solved by giving everybody a number from a hat or on a computer. Then every number 3 goes. What you do with them is up to somebody else, I solved the problem, I don't want to work out the details...
Are we the dumbest race in the universe?
I think the odds are in our favour that there is life in some other solar system that is dumber than us (it'd be a close call, I would imagine) - a race that goes round praying to God on Sundays, whilst killing each other Monday to Friday (well, even saturday if they didn't do it right in the week). They'll pray thanks to the Lord for giving them this great thing called life and the brain to realise that we owe it all to him.
We'll now sit quietly for a few moments before we have to go over there and kill all those other people who must have gotten their brains from somebody else.

Depends on how you look at life really everyone is living a life but some enjoy it much more than others due to a positive outlook on life.
